take me out the the ball-game...

I've been recently reminded that at right about this time, every year, I tend to get a little optimistically excited about the Cincinnati Red-Legs.  But for some reason, ... and I really mean this, ... I feel like this year is different.

We have a very young team. We actually have, dare I say, "good" pitching for the first time in years.  And best of all, we have no "big-name/big problem" players to tolerate.

I'm going on the record here folks:

The Cincinnati Reds will be contenders!

See you at the ballpark.

We had season tickets to the Bengals for 13 years. We said the saem thing every year also. It HAS to happen some year for both teams, why not this one?!

Okay, since you seem to research your opinions, I'm going to believe you on this one...

I just hope that if you are going to opening day, you will dress warmly - the weather is going to be ridiculous!

BTW, we'll be in your neck of the woods on Easter.

Kelly, we were Bengal season ticket holders too, ... up until this coming season. Laughably, I still have a voice mail saved on my phone, which is a recording from the Bengals offices promising that this is the year for a surprise Super Bowl appearance! Ha! I've never laughed so hard.

Melanie, we are not going to opening day, but I do have a really good feeling about this year.

Paul, I am glad we have globe-trotting Reds' fans!!!
